Aviation Security Training

GOAL:

This course will train your personnel to implement aviation security preventive measures in accordance with your airline operators security programmes, and prescribed national- and international aviation security standards and recommended practices.

The training course has been developed to enable your crew to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills so that they will be able to carry out their very tasks to the best of their ability.

The programme we offer you is according to ICAO AST/123 Airline and EU-OPS.

• Introduction
• Development of counter-measures
• Legislation and aviation security programmes
• Recognition of prohibited items and devices
• Protection of parked aircraft
• Aircraft security checks
• Organization of response to acts of unlawful interference
• Response to bomb threat to aircraft on the ground and actions to find suspicious items
• Response to bomb threat to aircraft in flight and actions to find suspicious items
• Response to acts of unlawful seizure
• Hostage negotiation and crisis management
• Closing activities

Practise:

• Search procedures
• Handling unruly passengers

DURATION:

16 hours divided in 2 days of 8 hours

• The training will be given in English
• Validity: 4 years
